What is the Economic Development Authority and what is its purpose?
The Economic Development Authority (EDA) is an authority consisting of seven (7) volunteers appointed by the Supervisor from the specific District, as well as the Towns of Orange and Gordonsville.

The mission of the EDA is to promote balanced growth and development within the County of Orange. The EDA also fulfills all purposes and intents of the Board of Supervisors to generate new capital investments and job creation for the citizens of Orange County.
