Emergency Wristband ID

The Emergency Wristband ID is marked with a personal identification number (PIN) and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office phone number.

Worn by individuals with serious medical conditions (such as diabetes, heart disease, epilepsy, allergies, etc.), the band alerts bystanders and first responders to call the Sheriff’s Office if the wearer needs assistance but is unable to communicate or call for help.

The Sheriff’s Office and the Emergency Communication Center have a copy of the medical information form provided by the Emergency Wristband client. The PIN number enables police and emergency responders to access this medical information quickly to provide care for the individual.
