Criminal Investigations Division
The mission of the Criminal Investigations Division is to support patrol operations by providing investigative resources.
The Criminal Investigation Division is responsible for investigating major crimes. The Criminal Investigation Division specializes in crimes such as drug offenses, sex crimes, crimes against children, robbery, death investigations, and fraud.
Responsibilities
The Criminal Investigations Division is led by Lieutenant Becky Jones. Investigators are responsible for:- Analyzing crime scenes
- Collecting evidence
- Executing search warrants
- Interviewing witnesses
- Preparing criminal cases for prosecution in Orange
