The Basics

To complete registration for an Orange County Parks & Recreation Program, you will need to complete and turn in a household registration form, which is available for printing above. The registration will not be validated unless payment has been completed. You may also need to complete other forms for certain programs, and you will need to sign a waiver. The household registration form is in an editable pdf format. You can type into the form, but you will have to sign it by hand. When completing a registration form, it is very important that you provide at a minimum either two (2) phone numbers or a phone number and an email address. We need to be able to contact you regarding registration questions and to keep you up to date if there is a change or cancelation in one (1) of our programs. Our registration system is set up to accept household information with a primary contact. When filling out our household registration form, please add as many members of your household as you would like, whether they are currently interested in a program or may be interested in the future. Doing so will help reduce registration times later on. If you input information for all members of your household, it is likely you will not need to fill out the form again. Some programs have strict deadlines, some do not. Unless otherwise noted, registration must be completed in advance of the beginning of the program. We cannot accept registrations or payment at the beginning of the program. There is generally a "soft" deadline to register for our programs at one week before the start date. We may be able to register you or your child after this date, but it is highly recommended that you register before the deadline. Please submit your registration as soon as possible. Some programs are based upon interest. If a program does not have enough participants by a certain date, it may have to be cancelled. To ensure a program you are interested in is not cancelled, submit all forms early.


If you are not an Orange County resident, you are still able to register for an OCPR program in most cases. Additional fees may apply, check specific program details.

Can't Make It Here?

If you are unable to come to our office during business hours to complete registration, please call us at (540) 672-5435. We can usually accommodate registrations through email, fax, mail, or other options. Payment options in our office include cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard. If you cannot make it to our office you can mail a check made out to "The County of Orange" with a registration form; please note the participant's name on the memo line. 

New! Online payment of most program registration fees can be completed through our Paymentus Service. We cannot accept credit card payments over the phone. IMPORTANT: Be sure to select the appropriate category from the "Payment Type" dropdown menu for the program for which you wish to complete payment. Select a payment type first, and the "Account Number" field will update to "Customer Name." 

We also have a drop-box for after-hours submission. This box is located under the extension office's drop box at the front entrance of the Sedwick Building (look for the orange OCPR sticker on the box). You may drop registration materials in this box, but please DO NOT PUT CASH IN THE DROP BOX. Please note, this box is intended for after hours use ONLY; materials left in the drop box will not be picked up until the following morning. Do not use the box during business hours for submitting time-sensitive materials as this may cause you to miss a deadline.
