This is an application for a Special Use Permit (SUP) to operate a refueling station on tax parcel 45-51B, consisting of 0.36 acres and currently addressed as 16584 Tomahawk Creek Rd. The applicant desires to align the zoning of the property with the historic use of the property as a convenience store and refueling station. Currently it is considered a nonconforming use which limits several aspects of the property and business, notably the ability to install new signage for the business which would exceed what is there currently. REZ 23-09 is a companion application (note: the property must first be rezoned before an SUP for a refueling station can be considered).
