NexTrex® Plastic Film Recycling Challenge

NexTrex® is a plastic film recycling challenge sponsored by Trex® where schools and communities can collect plastic film, such as grocery bags, and turn  them in to earn high-performance composite benches. The Orange County Litter Control Committee (OCLCC) has committed to itself to offering the County's citizens a place to recycle their materials in a way that will give back to the community.

How Does It Work?

Collection bins are placed at various County facilities for the collection of plastic film materials. The materials will be picked up, weighed, reported to Trex®, and dropped off at a participating retailer monthly. When a sufficient amount of plastics have been collected, Trex®  will award the OCLCC with a FREE high-performance composite bench. Please note that your plastic film materials must be dropped off at one of the OCLCC sponsored bins in order for the County to receive credit.
