Board of Supervisors Meetings

    The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. Public Comment Period is scheduled toward the beginning of the meeting, following Public Appearances. Public Hearings will take place at 7:00 p.m., unless noted otherwise.

Parks & Recreation Programs

  1. OCPR Karate at GBES - CANCELLED DUE TO SCHOOL CLOSING

    January 27, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Gordon Barbour Elementary School

    Brought to you a partnership with Ron Craddock Karate Academy, your child will study martial arts for the betterment of their health, discipline, work ethic, and overall happiness. The Ron Craddock Karate Academy has years of experience working with children, and their instructors are highly qualified and respected among other martial artists. The Gordon Barbour Elementary School program is ongoing, and held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The beginners class is held from 6:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m., the advanced class is held from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. At GBES, the Karate program has a $60 per month fee, which is paid every month for as long as the child is participating.

  2. OCPR Karate at OES

    January 28, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM @ Orange Elementary School

    In addition to our GBES Karate program, which is ongoing, OCPR is offering karate at Orange Elementary. It will be a monthly ongoing program held on Mondays & Wednesdays 4:30pm-5:30pm. This program will be instructed by Spike Richards, and will offer two options. The first is attending one class per week for $35 per month, the second is attending two classes per week for $60 per month. There will be an additional one-time uniform fee, which will be payable to the instructor.

  4. OCPR Winter Gymnastics

    January 30, 6:30 PM - 8:55 PM @ Orange County High School Old Gym

    Throughout the duration of the winter program, children will be taught to confidently explore the world of gymnastics by co-operating with one another and following directions. Gymnastics helps develop motor skills and coordination, as well as basic social skills, such as following directions and taking turns. Lessons learned throughout the program will provide the children with the skills necessary to excel in other sports, social settings, and the classroom. The winter program will be held on Fridays, Jan. 9 - Jan. 30.
