4th Annual Orange County Gingerbread House Contest - ONLINE ENTRY FORM

Our gingerbread house contest returns in partnership with The Arts Center In Orange and the Orange Downtown Alliance. Participants must be Orange County, VA residents or work at a location physically located in Orange County, VA. Entry forms must be SUBMITTED BY Dec. 1 (closes at 11:59pm). This year, to facilitate social distancing, gingerbread structures will be displayed in the windows of businesses along Main Street in Orange, VA, rather than indoors at the Arts Center. Houses will be displayed for voting and judging Dec. 5-20. Winners will be announced on or about Dec. 22. This event is sponsored by Krecek Kakes, and Partners 1st Federal Credit Union. Our Tour returns this year! Please note that this is NOT A CONTEST, it is a light-hearted tour just for fun. We are currently accepting entries for this year. Participating households will receive a FREE commemorative ornament. Enter your house by Dec. 10, 2020 online. More information about viewing will be available here by Dec. 12.

We’re offering a brand new wellness and awareness initiative in partnership with the Tourism Department. The program has two pillars: mileage traveled on foot, and significant county sites visited. Prizes will awarded to qualifying participants at program milestones (limited supply, prizes may be restricted to the first 50 to complete the milestone). Registration for this program is FREE, but participants must pre-register through OCPR using the online signup OR paper registration form. The online sign up form will become active on March 1, 2020.

Record miles travelled using the mileage recording log. Record site visits using the site visit recording log. You must be registered for the program before turning in logs. The recording period runs August - November, 2020.

Please view the program guidelines before registering, there are important details regarding qualifying your mileage and visits. Prizes will be awarded following the recording period and will include items like t-shirts, tote bags, and the chance to win a grand prize Orange County basket worth approximately $500!
